Short domain names OR longer and better branding? - WBTalk.com - Webmaster and Business Talk -

I'm in this pickle, I have 2 domain names that I like. One of them is 6 letters long and goes well with what I'm going to do, but it doesn't have flair. The other is 13 letters long which consists of 2 words, and it's a bit more of an attention getter as well as better branding qualities. The shorter could be branded too.. but it's just a bit more difficult imo.
What would you do?

I think the one with better attention and brand qualities is best. One thing with short domain name is, it is very easy to remember for everyone. Good luck

I would say more for a branding purpose. 5 character domain names are usually a small word, that has a catchy sound to it, used to make your site brand-able, and easy to remember. So I voted for Brandng

when a domain is easy to remember, visitors coming in will return (as long as what they want to see are in your website)

well most "domain gurus" say the shorter the domain the better its value since they are easier to remember than a longer
domain.

it depends on the domain name, i know many long domain names which people remember from the first time and a lot of short which even i cant remember, so choose the name which is good to remember, it doesnt matter how many letters it has (but not run mad after it)
